How the lab works

Two Pokémon in, one new creature out, every 5 minutes, dropped on Solana and paired with $POKELAB. Then collect them as cards and battle.

What is POKELAB?

POKELAB is an automated fusion lab on Solana. Every 5 minutes it takes the head of one Gen 1 Pokémon and the body of another, fuses them into a brand-new creature and drops that creature as its own coin on pump.fun.

Nobody picks the fusions and nobody launches by hand. The lab runs the drops on its own schedule, in full view on the home page. On top sits a card game: hold drops, pull packs, build a deck and battle other trainers.

The drop

The countdown on the home page runs to the next drop. The first fusion drops 2 minutes after $POKELAB goes live, then one every 5 minutes. When the timer hits zero, the head and body reels land, the fusion is revealed and its coin is created.

With 151 heads and 151 bodies there are 22,801 possible fusions. The pair decides everything: the sprite, the name, the ticker and the rarity. Every dropped coin is paired with $POKELAB on pump.fun, and every coin's address ends in Lab, so you can tell a real POKELAB drop at a glance. The newest drops are listed on the home page with a link to each coin.

Rarity

Every fusion carries a fixed rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary or Mythic. The same head and body always land on the same tier.

Fusions with a Gen 1 legendary skew toward the rare end. Rarer fusions tend to make stronger cards.

Packs

Holding $POKELAB and the drops earns daily card packs. Your balance is summed across $POKELAB and every drop, so 100K of one and 400K of another count as 500K.

Hold 100K to pull one pack a day, 500K for two and 1.5M for three. A pack holds six fusions, revealed one by one with the rarest last.

Cards and shiny

Every pulled fusion becomes a card with HP, attack, defense and speed scaled by its rarity, one or two types and four typed moves. Open a card to see both source Pokémon and every move.

About one card in 45 is shiny: a recoloured prestige variant with a gold frame and a star. Shiny is cosmetic.

Deck and battles

Your collection is your binder; your best six cards are your deck. Auto battles pair your deck with another trainer's and play out in the arena with typed attacks and type effectiveness. Your deck also fights while you are away, about one match an hour, and you claim the results when you come back.

Live matches are real-time PvP: you pick every move and switch your fusions yourself. Every match moves your rating, and the leaderboard ranks every trainer. Cards can be traded with other trainers.

Live chat

Connect your wallet and pick a trainer name to talk in the live chat on every page. You can read along without connecting.

$POKELAB

$POKELAB is the lab's main token. Every drop is paired with it, so every drop trades against $POKELAB.

Its contract address is in the header and the footer once it is live. Until then the lab waits: no drop is created before $POKELAB exists.
